The Predictors of Anxiety and Depression during Adolescence (PANDA) Project is a longitudinal research project directed by Dr. Christine McCauley Ohannessian at the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. The primary goal of the PANDA Project is to examine factors that protect young people from developing psychological problems. Surveys will be administered to a diverse sample of approximately 1,700 middle school and high school students from Connecticut and Massachusetts. The project collected data once in the fall of 2016 and once in the spring of 2017. The project also collected data once in the fall of 2017 and spring of 2018. The survey has moved to an online format for the 2018-2019 academic year.
